2008, Coolpei developed “match engine”

It was year 2005 just before Christmas, From the Gotham City New York, Michael Hur came to China’s “heavenly city” Hangzhou to embark on the “Coolpei Project”. With 12 years of Internet experience and two Internet companies under belt, Michael had an ambition to innovate on the current search engine model. After going through two years of numerous hardships and over 15 developer’s collaborative effort, Coolpei has finally come to beta production in May 2008. Currently in Chinese version, Coolpei will be soon applied to English version.

Coolpei is a new Internet model, through this new model, Coolpei can match users based on their searching criteria into groups and push that info automatically to the end users via Coolpei Instant Messenger (CIM). End users can then chat, leave messages or create groups or communities.
